The Decalogue can teach us about commitment. The faith outlined here by Jay W. Marshall begins with the covenant between God and people, based on God's deliverance and grace. This covenant grants privileges to believers along with responsibilities. It also shows that a congregation is more than a collection of people. Believers who worship together are called by God to become a faith community.
